Why use a charcoal briquettes dryer

After being pressed by a charcoal machine, the charcoal often has a moisture level of around 30%. This means it’s not ready to sell or use right away. Even in the hot sun, it can take 3 to 5 days for the briquettes to dry out completely.

To make the drying process faster and improve how much charcoal we can make, we use a special charcoal dryer. This dryer is different from the one that keeps going all the time. The box dryer might not make as much charcoal, but it costs less. Plus, it can dry all kinds of charcoal pellets, no matter what shape or size they are.

The charcoal briquettes are placed neatly on trays, and these trays are stacked on the cart one by one. A fan draws air into the drying room and heats it up to the right temperature. This hot air flows around the drying room, removing the water vapor and helping to dry the charcoal briquettes.

Charcoal briquette dryers are an essential part of the whole process of making charcoal. By removing extra moisture from the briquettes, these machines make them easier to light and burn better. Plus, they help prevent mold and other microbes from growing, which keeps the briquettes fresh for longer. As more and more people start using charcoal briquettes, we’ll probably see more research and improvements in these dryers to make them even better. When choosing a dryer, it’s important to think about different things, like its size and how well it works. And don’t forget to clean and maintain it regularly so it keeps working great.
